Ps3 games vs xbox 360 games 2012
However, saved games take equivalent periods of time to load on both machines. If we had to definitively pick a version, we'd go with the 's rendition of the game for its crisper visuals, but we wouldn't be dejected if we had to play the game on the PlayStation 3. Call Of Duty 4 Call of Duty 4, one of the most popular first-person shooters released in a while, provides fast-paced action in modern combat environments. The game renders war zones filled with derelict buildings, burned-out cars, and amazing environmental effects.
Call of Duty 4 plays and looks great on both consoles, but each has its strengths and weaknesses. The PlayStation 3 does a better job of dealing with antialiasing and shadows, whereas the Xbox provides a slightly more detailed environment with better textures and normal mapping. Burnout Paradise The latest edition in the Burnout franchise doesn't disappoint on either of the consoles.
The game looks largely the same on both, and we were hard-pressed to find significant differences. The PlayStation 3's images seem to be a bit blurrier than the Xbox , but it also looks cleaner in some areas. The differences are noticeable only if you zoom in and nitpick like this.
If you're actually playing the game, none of this would be apparent because the backdrop of the game regularly turns into a blur of carnage and wrecked cars. The PlayStation 3 version of Vegas 2 lacks good lighting, forgets about normal mapping, and appears to have slightly lower resolution textures. The golden dragon is probably the most obvious example of normal mapping, but the issue pops up everywhere from the card tables to the carpet. And of course, the lights provided by the lamps don't look anything alike.
The Xbox provides lighting with deep dark and overbrights, whereas the PlayStation 3 has simple lighting of uniform intensity. Need For Speed Pro Street Need for Speed Pro Street turns the usually informal racing series into a more, well, professional affair, with actual racing circuits, point systems, and racing events. Although the game may have taken a more professional stance, the graphics didn't exactly follow. The game doesn't look eye-poppingly great on either of the consoles, but the PlayStation 3 looks decidedly worse.

They're even for the most part. My ps3 just gets used more. Xbox Better price, more of your friends probably have one.
To name a few Mass Effect 2, L4D2, Splinter Cell aren't doing really doing anything substantially new in the gameplay department or graphics department.
If you disagree then you can click the thingy below. Just don't rape my bubbles for heavens sake lol! They are from the same franchise but that's it. As for Mlb, i think the same goes for that as well, a LOT of the features are missing. Example Little Big Planet is a port, it's a full on reproduced version of the original. Maybe Alan Wake too, we'll see. Both have great exclusives and I would much rather have an agnostic title being a platform agnostic gamer.
I like all games. It's pretty obvious that they screwed the list up by adding 'Geometry War 2' and 'Shadow Complex'.. But, the list does show the true strengths of each system..
PS3 is the king of single player adventure experiences.. Halo and Gears.. Millions of Fans Billions of Hours played over Live.. The rest of the games are ALL great in their own right.. But, ss good as most of the games on that list are.. It's just a great time to be a gamer.. I'm just glad I own em' all Evil. A few of those "exclusives" I can play without a And God of war collection shouldn't really count either.
In my opinion if we are allowed to have one here anymore is that Uncharted 1 is more fun than any other game made ever that I've played. Give me better than that. I don't even know why we are discussing this. It's a fact that the exclusives are better, OXM even said as much a while back. You idiot, where does it state that each individual game is being compared to one another? I don't own a but I can play half the games on the xbox list. I'm pretty sure that means they're not exclusive.
I'm just sayin. Content not matching the criteria That's right stupid,.. So next time before calling someone an idiot make sure you don't live in a glass house Everybody knows they are talking about console exclusives in this context. Quit making an issue where there isn't one. I prefer the PS3 overall, but there are quite a few games on the that I absolutely love and wouldn't want to live without. So when I see a game on the PC, I don't brush it off as non-existent. I consider the PC as a very viable source for gaming and so to see some of those games on the PC makes me wonder why MS would consider them exclusive.
Yeah, it might be "console exclusive" but is that how we play the game these days? Come on folks, if you can play the game then lets just call them gamer exclusives and play the damn games. A PC is a gaming console. Microsoft sucks at lying, so how are they fooling so many people? Mass Effect 2 isn't exclusive. But LBP is. Whereas what i'm playing on my PC is the same thing than what my friend is playing on his How does MS seem to get all the credit for a good game?
Why cant people see that? BTW, guys, i'm getting my tomorrow. Yup, i bought it. Sony meanwhile have a wealth of amazing games on the horizon such as The Last Guardian, Grand Turismo 5, the obvious releases of Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 and also Agent from Rockstar, all of which could turn out to be amazing titles.
Finally you also have to consider that other than normal exclusive games, a new generation of timed exclusives may also come into play, especially on Xbox This may influence some people, especially when they affect big titles such as Modern Warfare 2 and who knows what else in the future.
So who knows, some future content or even a full game that you have been looking forward to, may be delayed before it is released on the other console.
