I have my reservations, since it seems that every related link takes you to the dead Light Crafts site, and a search of Avangate for LightZone returns no hits. Personally, I'd recommend calling Avangate ahead of time at the appropriate phone number listed at the bottom of the page, to be sure that you're able to buy LZ.

On the other hand, all you need is the license key, not the software download, so maybe that much will work. I dunno. If you try it, please report back on what you learned! But that doesn't happen. I have tried to find and delete using CleanApp all the LightZone related files, but perhaps I am missing some. Does anyone know where all the LightZone specific files are located on a Mac?

This is LightZone 3. The "MIW not detected" message is normal. The ESLF3 file is your activated license file. But checking this thread i am not sure if there still is a problem for some Lion users to get a licensed LZ to work. Or will it work for most of them? There was, a while back, a query about the location of eSellerate files in Lightzone. It was answered in part but in fact there is another location. The matter may still be of interest to some and I post this as it may be of help. To avoid any issues with Lightzone program I duplicated the file and placed the duplicate on my desktop before unzipping it. Opening the "com" folder reveals another "lightcrafts" folder with 12 folders within, named: "app", "image", "jai", "license", "mediax", "model", "platform", "prefs", "splash", "templates", "ui"and "utils".

Open the "license" folder to find files with ESDLicense Can it help solve the eSellerate issue? For the Lightzone camera profiles, the "ui" folder reveals an "editor" folder within which is an "assoc" folder within which is a "resources" folder containing the individual camera profiles.

Please read more carefully. The version you apparently downloaded is from a link to an archival version provided for historical interest, and perhaps some user's personal operating issues, only.
