Kann ich Schweizer und Einwanderer auseinander halten? Und wie viel Migration steckt in mir? Eine Zusammenarbeit mit videokunst. Von der Reisebegleitung eines Sumatra-Nashorns bis zu einem Tischtennisspiel mit John Lennon gab es viel zu entdecken.

Bald erreichen die ersten Wellen dieses musikalischen Erdbebens auch die Schweiz. Beat mixt sich mit Soul und Jazz. Krokus bringen den beinharten Rock und erobern die USA. Wie es in den er-Jahren und bis heute weitergeht? Als Europa vom Ersten Weltkrieg erfasst wurde, tangierte das auch die Schweiz. Ein Graben zog sich durch das Land. Der tiefe Sympathiegraben forderte die Schweiz innenpolitisch stark heraus.

Wenn auch politisch geeint, so blieb das Land nach dem Krieg in sozialer und kultureller Hinsicht tief gespalten. Im Zentrum standen der Propagandakrieg und die grosse innere Zerrissenheit der Schweiz. Wir begegnen ihnen in allen Lebenslagen: am Familientisch und am Arbeitsplatz, im Sportstadion und in der Kirche, beim Staatsempfang und im Jugendtreff, am Schwingfest und am Rockkonzert. Dank Ritualen wissen wir, wie wir uns richtig verhalten. Als Kommunikationscodes regeln sie das Verhalten in einer Gemeinschaft.
